Great for problem skin

Not for me
My partner received this to try so I joined her. She tends to get breakouts but I don’t have acne. My skin is dry and clear even though I don’t do a lot with my skin. I apply sunscreen if I’m out in the sun and rinse with water.
I like the design of this moisturizer; the font, the tube size, and the easy squeeze. It’s pretty neat and unisex. The texture is nice. I don’t like oil products. It quickly absorbs.
There’s not a strong scent. I think most people would enjoy it. It gives an image that it’s professional and doesn’t contain too much ingredients that can irritate the skin.
I use it on blackheads and if I feel a bump forming. It seems to help reduce the bump.

Too strong for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love La Rouche-Posay products. I have tried the Effaclar Duo before, so I was super excited to try this one. My skin is acne-prone with eczema.
I received this as part of the trial team. I used it consistently every day for a month. This resulted in more break outs afterward. The reason may have been that this product was a little too active for my sensitive skin. If that is the case, I recommend using it as a spot treatment instead and only applying it to areas that need it.
Pro:
* The packaging is in a slim tube which makes it easy for travel.
* Contains salicylic acid to help clear breakouts.
Con:
* May tingle on sensitive skin.

Fantastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big fan of La Roche Posay products, so I was really excited to trial this new moisturiser. It is a really nice light consistency that isn’t sticky but also isn’t drying. I have oily acne prone skin and I found that it did help to reduce inflammation and clear my acne faster than usual. I also really liked that it doesn’t have a fragrance. I’ve used the regular La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Moisturiser previously, but I liked this one even more. I was really impressed by this product. I’ll definitely be purchasing this again and would recommend trying it out!

Great Moisturiser!

I used this moisturiser as apart of my routine and the product packaging itself is really made well, it’s super easy to open and close. The texture of the product glides on the skin really smoothly and it’s easy to distribute. After a few weeks of trialling it I loved how it made my skin look. It is a great moisturiser to add to your daily routine and it’s very effective for someone with acne-prone skin.

Decent moisturiser for oily skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product comes housed in a slim squeeze tube and narrow tip which enables precise dispensing.
Texture wise, it is a gel-creme which is a bit thick and requires some warming to spread with no detectable scent. I found that I needed to use a fair amount of product to fully cover my face.
I used this day and night for 3 weeks in conjunction with my usual serums and sunscreen and found a slight reduction in oiliness, however sometimes I felt the need to layer an additional moisturiser layer on top as this product was a bit too drying for my skin.
This does not interfere with make-up and I was able to get through the day without pilling, excessive oilyness or dry/irritated skin (with occasional moisturiser layer on top if needed).
There is an initial purging process whilst using this, suggesting the product was doing its job, so would recommend factoring adjustment time when introducing this product into a regimen.
For oily/combo, this product may not be moisturising enough however this may suit those with very oily and/or blemish prone skin. For my skin type, it was occasionally not moisturising enough, however I felt that the product mixed well with my usual products and did not cause irritation or discomfort.
I generally enjoy using LRP products, however on this occasion this product although it performed well, did not suit my skin type. If the product was a little more moisturising and easy to speead, it would receive a 4 star rating 🙂

The first time I used this I noticed my skin felt hydrated and soft
A week after using it, my skin was less red and my acne scars were not as obvious
The packaging is simple and modern and the scent is nice and subtle.
I like the way the product makes me feel – more confident and it easily slips in to my daily routine.
I give it a 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend to friends and family.
The price is a bit expensive but I think that the ingredients are high quality and it is effective at reducing acne, scaring and redness as well as moisturising skin.

Good Moisturiser for oily skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to receive the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + M Moisturiser as a trial product from BH. My favourite thing about this product is that it reduces blemishes and deeply hydrates skin. I can feel my skin feels more moisturised and hydrated. For the price, I highly recommend giving it a try if you have blemish. I have oily skin so I am always on the lookout for light-weight moisturiser. I can confirm this product is lightweight, gel-cream texture. I like how it spreads evenly on my skin and because it is so lightweight, it absorbs quickly without feeling sticky or oily.
