Velvety thick mask
I was lucky enough to get this velvety mask from a friend for my Birthday. I used it as an at home facial, when my family was out so I could have a really relaxing time.
I like the thick texture of this Hydrating Mask, it was not see through and held the shape while I smoothed the mask onto my face. Some masks are way too big for my face, this Skin Physics mask had good holes for my nose and mouth. Although I had to smooth the bottom part onto my neck. maybe it is to accommodate all face shapes?
There was a slight Vitamin C smell, maybe oranges in this Masks packet? Of course this is not surprising in being it is a Vitamin C Mask.

Love this mask so much
I liked this mask and I’ll get it again. It make my skin look fresh and bright. The Vitamin C didn’t cause my acne prone skin to break out at all. The material of the mask felt nice on my skin and it was comfortable and soft. It fitted my face really well.
I have told my sisters about this mask and they’re going to get one for themselves too.
I think the price is fair and I would love to get use them weekly as I really loved the look and feel of my skin afterwards.
I would love to try other masks from this brand.

So relaxing!!!
This is a fabric mask unlike some other masks that are a very thin material (tissue masks) & was drenched in serum. Even before opening, I could say there was plenty of serum in there! It fit well on my face. I had to arrange it some so it fit properly around my eyes. Got some serum in my eye in that process & it was quite irritating so had to use a tissue to blot my eye, but other than that was a great fit! Also, the sheet mask stayed in place, didn’t slip off… you can comfortably sit with the mask on.
Highlights:
*Cooling & refreshing.
*Superb hydration.
*Saturated with Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid & Allantoin.
*Great for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and soothing dry & irritated skin.
Left it on my face for 20 mins….had such a relaxing time!!
So, after removing the sheet, there was plenty of serum on my face. According to the packaging, you are supposed to rub in the serum. But personally, I find that very tacky. So I usually rub in the serum and leave it like that on my face for another half n hour and then wash off (can’t bear that sticky feeling).
My skin was very soft and plumped!!

Leaves skin really stick and shiny
To open this mask you just rip across the top of the sachet. When I did this a few squirts of serum squirted out onto my bathroom bench.
When I applied the mask to my face it was freezing cold and saturated in so much serum that it was dripping. It went onto my face ok but was a bit big and kept hanging off my chin/jaw area. After 20 mins I took the mask off and my face was saturated in serum so I massaged it in and waited for it to dry. It took about 5 minutes to dry but my face was left feeling so sticky, extremely tight and also really oddly shiny. I couldn’t stand the stickiness so I had to wash it off and cleanse my face. The mask had a slight orange scent but it was barely even noticeable. I didn’t notice anything different about my skin. It didn’t feel soft or hydrated. I wouldn’t recommend or purchase.

Super hydrating face mask
This Skin Physics Oxygen C Hydrating Velvet Mask comes in a plastic foil pocket which rips open to expose the mask.
The mask is white in colour and is of a soft and velvet like tissue which is strong to the touch held lots of serum and was easy to unfold and smooth out against my face to ensure that it had as much contact as possible. The satchel has heaps of serum in it and I decanted the rest for use later.
The serum has a lovely orange scent which was refreshing.
The mask felt relaxing and cooling on my face but the eye cut out were a little small for me and though it did not touch my eye it was close enough to make my eye water as it was and I used a cotton bud to ensure that no serum was dripping into my eye.
After removing the mask after 20 mins, I massaged in the rest of the serum and my face immediately felt plumper and softer about 10 mins after removing my mask I felt that all of the remaining serum was soaked in enough to apply my face cream.
This is a really relaxing and a luxurious feeling face mask and I am going to buy more of these.

Velvety mask
The white hydrating mask is very easy to apply, is cooling on the face after a hard days work and citrus scent is heavenly sitting back and relaxing in my recliner chair.
The non drying effect locks in moisture on my face leaving my skin feeling radiant with the use of 5 hyaluronic acid serum.
After waiting the recommended 20 minutes and I imediately noticed the glamorous shine and smooth feeling and plumpness of my skin, especially in the forhead area. Where my stubborn frown lines show.
Definately a weekly use to relax and hydrate all the skin on your face.

Hydrating and gentle, zero irritation
I was a bit apprehensive about using vitamin C sheet masks at first, knowing that pure vitamin C can be irritating. Thankfully this sheet mask uses magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a vitamin C derivative which is very gentle, and known to have brightening effects. This sheet mask has plenty of serum, and the mask itself is quite a bit thicker than the other ones I’ve used. It is only very lightly fragranced, and there was no irritation, so I was able to relax while I had it on. After removing the mask, I was able to pat the residual serum on, it was a bit tacky from the glycerin but I don’t mind that. I just waited a bit before putting my moisturiser on.
The mask lives up to the hydrating claim, but can’t say there were any brightening effects after a single use – I expect that to require regular use.
Skin Physics products are usually made in Australia or New Zealand, but this mask is made in Korea – not a bad thing because they know about sheet masks!

Gentle form of Vit C, very hydrating
This sheet mask is made in Korea and includes niacinamide, vitamin C in the form of non-irritating magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, glycerin and hyaluronic acid. It is a thicker sheet mask that that comes soaked with a very generous amount of serum – so much so that it’s dripping out of the packet. There is a delicate scent of orange. The mask is a bit bigger and thicker than other sheet masks and fits well, and it didn’t drip once it was applied on my face. I experienced zero irritation and was able to relax and enjoy the twenty minutes that it was on my face.
After removing the mask, the remaining serum on my face felt wet and slightly tacky but after patting it in, it was absorbed after around 10 minutes, and I was able to apply my night cream on top. It left my face feeling very hydrated until the next morning.
Overall I found this to be a good quality sheet mask – one of the better sheet masks in the Australian market with no strong scent or irritating ingredients. It’s also reasonably priced compared to the competition. I can’t vouch for any changes after one use, but I know that the ingredients are good and would be beneficial in the long term. If nothing else, it’s definitely a very hydrating mask.
