The La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 Serum is our first dermatological serum with 10% Vitamin B5.
With an efficient hydrating formula, the Cicaplast B5 serum has been specifically developed for dry skin prone to redness, and skin tightness or discomfort. When used daily, the dry skin serum helps hydrate and maintain the skin moisture barrier.
Enriched with a highly concentrated humectant Vitamin B5 to help increase hydration and reduce trans-epidermal water loss, the skin repair serum formula also contains HEPES to help stimulate skin renewal, reinforce the moisture barrier, and comfort skin. The formula includes ingredients that are known to support the skin against everyday environmental aggressors like air pollution, temperature changes, low humidity and dryness. It also helps with topical irritations such as over-use of active ingredients and superficial skin procedures. The combination of hydrating and repair ingredients is also beneficial for skin impacted by lifestyle changes (lack of sleep, stress, poor diet)

- Apply 1-2 drops of this serum for dry, sensitive skin both morning and evening on face and neck on freshly cleansed face and before moisturiser.
- Gently press onto the face and neck until the serum is fully absorbed
- Avoid repeatedly massaging the face serum in circles.
- Wait at least 30 seconds before applying other skincare products.
- If using highly active ingredients in skincare routine

Not my favourite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a fan of La roche-posay skincare but I was a bit disappointed when looking at the ingredient list for this product. It does have some good additional ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5 and E but it kind of negates this product with the added denatured alcohol in the serum. I understand having the alcohol in the product speeds up the drying time of the serum however alcohol especially being so high up in the ingredient list is damaging to the skin barrier. It’s such a shame because it does have these great vitamins and feels nice on the skin but I can’t in good conscience use this with the amount of denatured alcohol added to this product.

Nice serum, awful dropper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum has a really nice silky feel and absorbs down well, leaving a nice glow and plump feeling to skin. It has definitely helped hydrate my dry winter skin. I am unsure why alcohol is needed in this product and seems counterintuitive to add it into a ‘repair’ serum.
The thing I hated most about this product is the dropped. It is absolutely awful. I am also not convinced that I enjoyed this product enough to pay full price for it. It was nice and maybe if my skin was extremely irritated I would consider it, but I can’t see myself repurchasing this for my everyday skin care routine.

Work with my skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this serum twice a day. Morning and night. Never use this kind of ingredients before as i have dry sensitive skin. I give a try and it really work for my skin. It has some fragrance that i dont really like but i dont mind it as it very very subtle. I like the consistency. It absorb easily and light feeling. A bit sticky after apply but not worry me at all. I can feel my skin smoother, moist and plump without any redness at all. The one that i dislike is the dropper too big for the bottle. Hard to get the serum but overall, i highly recommended it. I definitely gonna purchase it again.

It worked perfectly and I will be using this everyday as part of my skincare it helped with the dryness but also with my pimples. Love love love this product will always use it now and forever. I am 16 and new to skincare but this product I could see immediate change. It’s long lasting results. I just really really love this product even my mum wants to try it. If your skin is dry or even have some acme it will work within the first use and if you continue it will become big and great results, you can tell after just one use

Hand down best syrum!
This is the best syrum, run and buy this. I have quite dry and sensitive skin and struggle to find products that don’t irritate my skin or cause redness. I use this syrum every morning and night after my shower and it honestly makes your skin glow. I have never had a reaction from it which is quite rare for me, and it makes your skin feel extremely hydrated and soft. This syrum is definitely worth the money, it lasts a long time because a little bit will go a long way on your face. If you suffer from dry and sensitive skin like me then I 100% reccomend that you try this product. It changed my skin completely and also helped clear it up.

better than the cicaplast cream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t expect to like this as I previously used the cream version and it didn’t do much to my skin and actually irritated my broken barrier skin. The cicaplast b5 serum works a lot better, used after cleanser, and before moisturiser. It made my skin feel plump and soft to the touch. My skin is normally dry, sensitive, red and irritated from being eczema prone. This didn’t trigger a flare-up which is a plus. I tried the serum on its own to make sure I didn’t have a reaction and eventually incorporated it into my skincare routine with other serums. I recommend using it with other water-based serums.

A feeling of refreshment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I was a little skeptical of this product to start with because I’ve tried similar products that haven’t been remarkable shall we say. Well, I was pleasantly surprised because it seems to have helped my skin be more moisturized and feel softer to the touch. Even my rosacea seems to have lessened in intensity. It feels soothing and refreshing to the skin when I apply it. When I look in the mirror now, I see a better, smoother and definitely more moisturized looking skin. So, if anyone is out there that needs to be soothed and moisturized, I would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

Nice to trial
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this B5 serum for 2 weeks and did notice a difference in my skins I preferred to use it in the morning rather than at night due to the silicone. Having not tired any serums with B5 previously I didn’t know what to expect but this worked quite well. It seemed to reduce the redness in my skin and my skin didn’t seem quite as dry as it usually gets in winter.l which was nice. It makes a pretty good primer under makeup as well. Overall I enjoyed this product and would probably buy a full size bottle. My only criticism was The dropper made it a bit hard to get product out.
