Light and hydrating but basic
Sukin released their blemish control range a few years ago. This is the moisturiser from that range. It comes in a convenient 125ml pump bottle with a green label. As expected for Sukin, there are many plant-based ingredients in the formula, including aloe vera juice, willowherb, quince, moringa leaf, green/white tea extract, tea tree oil. There is also glycerin for hydration, Vitamin E for skin health/antioxidant.
The texture is light and absorbs nicely on my combination skin. It is oil-free but still hydrating. I can definitely smell the tea tree oil but it’s not overpowering. I don’t get any irritation from this but those with sensitive skin may want to note that there are a few essential oils included in the formula.
As this moisturiser doesn’t have any acne-specific active ingredients as such, it would be best to pair it with something like a salicylic acid and niacinamide serum for sebum control and to unclog pores. On the other hand, it is a generic enough moisturiser that those with normal to oily skin can enjoy. If it wasn’t marketed for blemish-prone skin, I would have rated it 4 stars as a good oil-free moisturiser for normal to oily skin.

Best for very oily skin
I have combination skin with patches of oil, prone to acne and redness. I found that this moisturiser had a light and pleasant fragrance and that it absorbed easily into the skin. Unfortunately, I found that it left my skin feeling slightly dry and feel that it would be best suited to those with truly oily skin rather than combination oily.
After using this product for quite a while I noticed that there wasn’t really any reduction in pimples and feel that this would be better suited to those with very mild and infrequent break outs.

Basic and good for oilier skin
I have gotten this moisturizer in the sukin blemish control pack. Pump bottle makes application mess free and easy. 125mL is a huge amount for face moisturizer so I used it also as a body lotion. Have noticed my skin (body and face) prefers oil free or minimal oil amount moisturizers (no butters like shea, cocoa or coconut etc). This cream is lighweight, creamy white and just enough to keep my skin moisturized. It has slight herbal scent from natural ingredients (plant extracts). My mid aged skin, huge pores and combo (summer oilier) skin likes this product. Pores, usually prone to whiteheads and even blackheads, (if not using acids) were clear while using the cream. And the body, neck, chest, skin was supple and moisturized and after shaving this moisturizer felt soothing.

Comfortable moisturiser with a natural scent
This moisturiser is part of Sukin’s blemish control range. It comes in a convenient 125ml pump bottle with a lime green label. Ingredients include various plant extracts such as Willowherb, Moringa, Vit E, Tea Tree Oil etc. For a blemish control product, it is oil-free but surprisingly hydrating in a good way. It is very comfortable and absorbs well on my combination skin. There is a pleasant smell from the tea tree and other essential oils, but not so much that it irritates.
I can’t say for sure that it helps blemishes but it certainly doesn’t clog pores. Overall it is a basic moisturiser, those with blemishes may need something else such as a salicylic acid serum.

Light moisturiser
I received this at the Beautyheaven Natural Beauty event and have enjoyed trying it out. The cream is quite light and absorbs well into the skin. You can smell the tea tree and eucalyptus oil in it, but it’s not overpowering at all.
When used with the cleanser, toner and spot banishing gel, you’ve got a great set to keep blemishes under control.

Is doing the job
Not sure if I am overusing or underusing this moisturiser, yet a little takes you far. This product (out of the 4 step Sukin Blemish Control range) is taking the longest to use up. Then again, this moisturiser is quite thick. My skin definitely feels hydrated after use, yet I don’t know it if it aggravating my current acne or not.
Am impressed with the sleek design, and that this beauty product contains no parabens. Tea tree and eucalyptus are great for the skin. I want to achieve better results from this natural beauty product.

Lightweight moisturiser
The Sukin blemish control oil free moisturiser is great for those who have oily and acne prone skin and worry about finding the right face lotion. I know I am quite picky about what creams and lotions I put on my face because if it’s too thick or too heavy it can cause my skin to breakout or clog my pores. This moisturiser is light and oil free so it absorbs really easily and also contains ingredients that help combat blemishes and oily skin. I like to put it on in the morning after I’ve washed my face and I like that it keeps my skin hydrated without leaving any residue behind. The tea tree oil helps to reduce the blemishes overtime which is why it’s so great if you suffer from acne. I would suggest using it in conjunction with the other products from this range as it can really help to clear your skin. The price is affordable, it doesn’t cause any irritation, it won’t clog your pores or leave your face looking oily and it will help to balance out your skin.

Natural Beauty Month Event – Awesome For Zit Prone Skin
I received this at the Natural Beauty Month Event, 2019. It was timely for me to have this to try as, even though I always have oily combination pimple prone skin that is also ageing type by the way, I don’t always have pimples as I do try to keep them in check, of course. But when I received this two days ago I actually had three stubborn zits – one on the middle of my face on my forehead and two down on my chin with a possible third looming. I used this moisturiser after washing my face when I got home from the event and, in combination with the other matching products in the range (the spot blemish treatment, the toner and the face wash) I have now found that two days of use has completely eliminated those three zits!! So it works and it works well.
I love that it’s oil-free and it’s lovely eucalyptus-tree-scent which is very light but very lovely and I can enjoy it as I apply it over my face. It smells great – but’s it is a light scent by the way!
So as I sit here blemish-free, I can totally believe that it was this moisturiser along with it’s accompanying products in the range that gave me the clear skin I have today. I will keep using it whenever I feel any zit/s are getting the better of me.
I have been using it day and night. At night I’ve been using it over a serum and it works easily with that. In the morning I have been using it mixed with an oil-free SPF50 product (as this moisturiser contains no SPF).
In the morning it creates a beautiful base for foundation and other make-up products ( or just for use on it’s own.)
This moisturiser does what it promises: to refine skin, reduce blemishes (and fast!), provide a gorgeous light eucalypt scent and to smooth and sooth dry skin (which I have on my sides of my face, my cheeks and round my mouth and eyes).
I did like to use an extra eye product while using this as that’s where I tend to need help in a different way altogether.
Thankyou so much for introducing me to this moisturiser bh because it’s a keeper!
