Seachem Safe Dry Conditioner
Seachem Safe Seachem believes that offering customer education and support, as well as premium products proven by science, are the cornerstones for delivering quality aquarium care. For over 40 years, Seachem has been a company rooted in science, and is owned and operated by genuine passionate hobbyists. Seachem itself was started because one such passionate hobbyist – Dr. Leo G. Morin (Founder) – recognised that the available solutions to aquarists problems were wanting. Over thirty years later, Seachem is still approaching old problems with a fresh, innovative lense. Seachem Safe is the complete and super-concentrated dry conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Seachem Safe removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. It is non-acidic and will not impact pH. A further bonus for the reef hobbyist is that this product will not over-activate skimmers. Seachem Safe may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. It contains a binder which renders ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate non-toxic, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water. Removes chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia Detoxifies nitrite and nitrate Highly concentrated Suitable for use in marine and freshwater Directions: 50 gram: Use 200 mg of Safe (included scoop) per each 200 L as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine – or per 50 L for ammonia. All other sizes: Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 1,250 L as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine – or use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 300 L for ammonia. May be added to aquarium directly, but it is better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base the dose on aquarium volume. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite and nitrate in an emergency, up to 4 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is > 30 °C and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose. After something different? View all Seachem Tank Care Products. New to fish care?
