Great retinol serum, good consistency!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very nice creamy retinol serum! I have loved having this serum added into my nightly routine and am really noticing the positive effects of retinol on my skin. This serum a very nice texture and consistency and doesn’t feel overly oily like other retinol serums I have tried in the past. It definitely works well with the Olay Retinol moisturiser each evening before bed. I have noticed that my skin is a lot smoother over the last 4 weeks of using it and that my skin is adapting well to using retinol. I would like to highlight that it is worthwhile being careful/using this product sparingly as retinol can cause some dry patches and I did find that at the beginning my skin needed to get used to the product and I had some dry patches under my eyes. After speaking with a beauty consultant I was told to use moisturiser in the sensitive areas on my skin first and then apply retinol serum afterwards and found this to be effective in combating any sensitivity and dryness that is a common effect of retinol serums. Overall I really enjoyed this retinol serum over others that I have tried and will continue to use and purchase it!

Not for everyone
I have used Olay creams for 25 years, never a problem until I switched to this new retinol moisturizer. I applied every night for about a week with no issues until I applied sunscreen in the morning. My whole face was burning so I washed off the sunscreen thinking that was the colprit. Skin settled after 15 mins so thinking it was the sunscreen I continued using my Olay retinol nightly for about a week. Getting ready for a night out I applied a heavy long lasting foundation and again instantly the burning skin returns. I have been using this foundation for 10+ years so knew it wasn’t that and also I hadn’t used that sunscreen. The only thing I had changed in my skin routine was the new Olay retinol moisturizer so I have stopped using it. I do have slight red patches under my eyes/cheekbones and my skin appears pink and shiny and very sensitive to temperature. I have never had sensitive skin. I love Olay but would warn others to patch test this product for a few weeks before applying to your whole face to avoid burning

Great moisturiser but too expensive
Packaging this 50g jar in a box more than double its size is misleading (even with the ‘Actual Size’ on side of package). Environmentally very wasteful, and shows how out of touch you are with such issues. The actual jar is beautiful, more like a work of art, but again wasteful. I would rather you saved money on both jar and box, and offered either/both a larger jar or lower cost. In the long run you would make more money.

Absolutely luxurious night serum!!!
The definition of beauty sleep – I never used to differentiate between day and night serums, but integrating the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Serum into my skincare regime has been a DREAM! It is so hard to find proper, high quality retinol based products but Olay uses a a bio-available retinoid complex as well as vitamin B3 and the results speak for themselves. The serum goes on so smoothly and is lightweight and fragrance free – the texture is just perfect. I’ve found it visibly reduces my dark spots and hydrates the skin to give it such a smoother, brighter appearance. Highly recommend this for your evening skincare ritual!

Clears acne
I have cystic acne, and sensitive skin. My face can become disfigured from cysts and get incredibly painful.
I started using this product over a year ago. Within the first use, my face was less oily by morning, and I felt dryer through out the day. With in a week, my acne was beginning to clear up, and new cysts seemed to be less intence. My scarring is reduced and skin tone is so much more even and fresh. My fine lines are visibly less noticeable, and my skin has a natural glow about it I’m 37 and often told I have skin of a 20 something yo. Although this isn’t an acne treatment, it has helped a great deal in the condition of my skin, and I often get compliments. I still have breakouts but not like I used too.

A hydrating dream!
When I used this I was genuinely shocked by how much it enhanced the plump visage of my skin. I knew it was formulated without nasties and with an incredible retinoid and Vitamin B3 complex, but my goodness, I am still so blown away by how quickly you see your skin brighten in appearance, and the texture was noticeably smoothed and hydrated. Definitely worth investing in as part of your routine. It’s a simple way to get long term hydration. I often struggle with dried out, flaking skin in Winter and cooler months and did start to notice that occurring a month ago, but after consistently using this Serum (and the eye cream) at night, it has reversed it. It also smells divine!

love it
The skin around my eyes looks so much brighter and more hydrated.
I also have found that with this product a little goes a long way so I get a lot out of applications out of the one bottle.
I also love the fact that it doesn’t feel greasy or oily.
When I first started using the product I used it every third day, then every second and now I use it every day… I LOVE iT.
My skin tone across my whole face seems more even and bright.
I committed to using this for the full suggested four weeks and now its a big part of my skincare routine
