Clean & Effective
I used the Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes on my recent trip interstate. I generally only tend to use any form of wipe only whilst I’m travelling. The wipes were great in taking off my makeup and sunscreen. I noticed that when I was following up with a double cleanse that the majority of whatever was on my skin previously was off – which I like in a wipe. I don’t like to use more than 1 wipe for a face so it was an added bonus that I only needed to use one. I was hesitant to use the wipes around my eyes as I know it is a sensitive area. I will definitely use the wipes again on my next trip. The packaging was great too – not too bulky and not too wide.

Great product!
I really liked these wipes. I found them to be quite thick. I also felt they really moisturised my skin well and didn’t hurt my skin (sometimes products can leave my skin feeling dry and stingy – these didn’t). The packaging was perfect to take out with me to a friend’s place and these would be fantastic to take on a plane too – so convenient. They took my makeup off really well, smelled delicious and didn’t fall apart when I used them. I found them to do a great job and be very nourishing too! I also love the fact that they are plant-based, and I will continue to use these for sure! I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Impressive makeup removing technology
I recently tried the Nivea Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes. I don’t usually opt for makeup wipes as they dry my skin out and I would rather use a cleanser. Recently I did an intensive makeup course 3 nights a week for a month and these proved to be a life saver. The makeup remover ability is great. I used them on myself and the models to remove makeup residue. My skin is super sensitive and they did feel a little tingly but did not leave a reaction on the skin. The models were also happy with the feel and scent of the wipes in my opinion. The packaging is convenient and compact which is great for on the go. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Removes Foundation
It’s been a long while since I last used makeup wipes but I was pleasantly surprised to see that these wipes are now Biodegradable, which is much better for the environment. I found that the wipes had a soft scent and were well saturated. The wipes are textured and I found it to remove my foundation and face makeup well, without irritating my skin. It unfortunately didn’t remove my eye makeup well, including my mascara and eyeliner. I think these wipes work okay if you’re looking for a product to remove a good portion of makeup before you then go and double cleanse your face. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Didn’t work for my skin
I was really excited to try these given that they are biodegradable, and sometimes a wipe is just far more convenient, especially as I travel for work a lot. I had to stop using these as they burnt my eyes, and left an unpleasant feeling on my skin. I didn’t personally like the smell either. In terms of getting makeup off, I had to go over my eye makeup again with micellar water to ensure all my makeup was off, left a fair bit of mascara on my eyes. Really wanted to love this product! I do have quite sensitive skin, so it could just be a mismatch with my skin.

Love that they’re biodegradable
I was drawn to this product because it is biodegradable, I love that Nivea is taking such a positive step toward being more sustainable. I loved the classic Nivea scent. I have been using this in place of micellar water to remove makeup and have found that it does a good job, but I still would choose micellar water for the purpose of make up removal. I find these best for general freshening up through the day so I keep them in my handbag. They are really nice and refreshing, not stripping or greasy, a truly great product! I just personally didn’t love it for makeup removal. Will use it for travel though as it is super convenient. I was gifted a product sample to trial and review.

Strong and very effective at removing makeup
I didn’t mind these facial wipes. They had a scent to them which my skin can be sensitive to, but that didn’t seem to aggrevate my skin. It removed makeup surprisingly well including mascara and long lasting lipstick. The wipes felt soft against my skin and the packaging was easy to operate. The pouch is a nice, small size for easy storage and the wipe size felt generous. The wipes felt strong and like they weren’t going to fall apart while being used, but I don’t like that they are a disposable product even though they are biodegradable.
