Dr LeWinn’s Private Formula Gentle Cream Cleanser is a soap-free Aloe cleanser enriched with Vitamin A, Apricot, Avocado and Sweet Almond to gently cleanse, nourish and hydrate the skin, while effectively removing make-up and impurities.
Recommended for normal to dry skin types.

Apply to face and neck with wet hands. Gently massage in circular movements and rinse off with water.
For optimum results, follow with Dr. LeWinn’s Private Formula toner and Private Formula moisturiser.

Did not remove makeup
I used dr lewinns cleanser before and was happy. But when I tried this new cleanser, it did not seem to remove any makeup. It left a oily feeling on my face and hands. When I use the toner after the cleanser, the cotton wool had so much makeup on it. Is it possible to get a refund? Bought in chemist warehouse.

Poor consistency
I have been using this product for years. However the new consistency is very runny compared to the original thick & velvety mixture which I loved. Please bring back the original one.

Would not recommend
I bought this product as I was after a cream cleanser. I would not use the word cream if I was describing it. Very watery, runs straight through my fingers. Leaves the face feeling oily. Very disappointed with the description of the product compared to what it actually is.

I have used this product for years but with the bottle change we now get less & the lotion is not as thick. You need to use more than before & consistency is like water making it harder to use. I will not buy it again.

Terrible, threw it out
Tried it twice just to make sure. Was like washing your face with baby oil. I had to use another cleanser to get it off. Horrible.

Inefficient, Difficult to Use, Leaves Greasy Film
This Gentle Cream Cleanser has been a staple in the cleansing line of Dr. Lewinn’s for well over a decade. Unfortunately the product no longer resembles what it used to be. That being a thick, creamy, luscious green tinted cleanser that cleansed beautifully.
The product now resembles a thin, oily, watery mess which just runs through the fingers and is impossible to use. One has to remove the pump top dispenser and manually pour out the cleanser onto the palm for a decent dollop. The cleanser is not at all water-soluble . Applied either to dry or damp skin, upon rinsing it leaves the most greasy residue imaginable, this cleanser does not rinse cleanly without the aid of a warm wet washcloth or cleansing sponges. Very, very difficult to use and I am not exaggerating. Please go back to the old formula or discontinue the product, to be honest I can’t believe it’s still on shelves…
