Use Bondi Sands Exfoliation Mitt to ensure your skin is clean and free from any moisturisers.
Pump foam directly onto your application mitt before using long, sweeping motions to smooth over legs, arms and body. Use remaining tan for face, elbows, and knees. For those hard to reach places try the Bondi Sands Self- Tanning Back Applicator.
Skin may be washed after one hour. For a longer lasting, darker tan leave for up to 6 hours before showering with warm water. Gently pat skin dry. For the deepest tan re-apply Bondi Sands self-tanning foam 30 minutes after initial application.

One of the best fake tans for sale at the moment – without a doubt. I have tried a couple different brands (cheaper and more expensive) but Bondi Sands is my holy grail product for my weekly tan. This darker shade is super easy to use (a lot more smoother and softer than the original Dark)and it is easy to put on yourself evenly. The Ultra Dark shade is a lot more blue and violet toned, which cancels out the usual orange tones I get from my blue undertones. An absolute gem of a product and a must-have!

One of the best tans but not as good as cream one
Bondi sands is a good Australian brand with a nice scent. I find that it is very expensive though and because I don’t use it much it goes bad. I find it difficult to apply because my dry patches of skin make it look patchy. I think the cream one is better because foam goes off and doesn’t give you long to spread it along the skin. Still really good though!

Affordable and good quality tanning foam
I have used this tanning foam for a while now and whilst I don’t use it every day all the time, I do like to pull this out in the warmer months for a bit more colour to avoid getting my tan from the harsh sun and risk burning. I like that this product delivers a lovely natural tan without an unbearable scent. As it is the darker version in the range I only need to use one layer on my fair skin and find it easy to apply and buff into my skin. It does seem to dry down fairly fast so it’s a good idea to try to work away any streaks quickly while it’s easy to massage into skin in circular motions. I use the Bondi Sands velvet mitt with this to apply the foam evenly across my skin. It is important for me to ensure my skin is well exfoliated prior to using this as it does tend to show up and uneven bumps or dryness on the skin. As I have drier skin I like to make a weekly habit of exfoliating my skin and following with moisturiser when it’s summer and I know I will be using a tanning product, as it makes my skin that much softer, smoother and more even so I can get the best out of the tanning product. Overall I am happy with this tanning foam from Bondi Sands and will repurchase when it runs out.

Overall a nice streak free tan
I regularly use Bondi Sands Dark self tanning foam and I thought I would give the ultra dark version a try as I have been wanting a deeper tan. The formula does not give me a darker tan than the dark version so I was a bit disappointed seeing as it costs more money. I could not notice a difference in colour between the Ultra dark and the dark version once the tan was washed off. For this reason I would stick to the dark version as it is 5 dollars cheaper.
The Ultra Dark tan has a nice coconut scent. It is easy to apply the foam and I get some assistance with hard to reach spots like my back. The tan results are medium dark, I would not say it was as dark a tan as I would like. I applied 1 coat then waited 30 minutes and did another coat as recommended but found I was dark but not ultra dark after leaving the tan on overnight. The tan does stain clothes easily so be careful or wear dark colours if sleeping in it.
I like that the tan is an Australian brand and does not make me look orange. I would not say it is the darkest Aussie tan I have tried but it is good.
I must say on the negative side I found this tan to fade off way quicker than the dark version by the brand. I was a little surprised by this and 3/4 days into the Ultra dark tan I need to scrub it off as it is becoming patchy.
Overall the tan colour is dark and was initially good but I found the dark version by the brand is better as it lasts longer and produced the same dark colour.

My go to for a nutural looking tan…
I use this product at the start of every summer to get my tan look going. It’s easy, instant and lasts really well. I love that the coconut scent masks that self tan chemical smell for this product. Mousse goes on easily with an applicator glove, only tricky to reach my back. Dries quickly and results in a couple of hours.

Not bad, not great
The formula is nice, this was actually my favourite tan for years.. i just feel the self tanner game has changed and as a result this one goes down the list.. its still topped with bondi sans (just more the liquid gold rather than this)
its nice tan however it just has that orange tinge on my skin tone, i cant seem to stop noticing it!

Will never use another tanning product
I used to use the original tanning products back in the day when I was a teenager and I would find that it would irritate my legs to the point where I had to stop using it.
Cut to present day and Bondi Sands has become my one and only. I tried it once on a patch on my leg to see if it reacted and there was no reaction. I then purchase the product went home and apply it all over my legs and haven’t looked back. It is super easy to apply with the corresponding mit.
I use three pumps on each of my lower legs and two pumps on the top part of my leg. It blends out so seamlessly and you only have to do one coat with the Ultra dark foam. It lasts beautifully for about a week and it wears off really evenly. The undertone for this 10 is a green colour which eliminates any orange tan issues.

Best drug store fake tan
I used to be faithful to another brand of self tan until I picked this one up on sale and instantly fell in love with it. Formula is great and doesn’t smell too much, gives off a tint when applying so you know where to keep applying. Great colour overnight and very natural looking on my skin tone. It doesn’t go patchy around ankles or elbows and is quick drying. Best affordable fake tan!
