- For an even streak-free tan use the Bondi Sands Exfoliating Mitt to ensure skin is clean and smooth.
- Lightly moisturise hands, knees and any dry areas. Before you tan remember to take a before photo for our social pages.
- Apply Liquid Gold directly onto skin and use the Bondi Sands Self-Tanning Mitt to smooth oil over your legs, arms and body using long sweeping motions. Use remaining tan on mitt for face, elbows and knees.
- Dress and go. No shower necessary. Now would be great time to take an after photo and #bondisands. For a deeper tan reapply 30 minutes after application.

I absolutely love this product, smells divine and leaves a natural looking tan.

Such a great product!
This tanning product works best on prepped skin – shave your legs and moisturise knees, elbows and hands 12-24 hours before using this product. Before applying ensure that your skin is completely dry and free of oils. Using the mitt to apply, after applying to the major areas in long strokes, apply the residue of the mitt to arms, ankles/feet, knees, back of hands, neck and face for an awesome tan.

If you’re fair skinned and scared of self tan, try this
So far this is the only drugstore self tanner I have tried that is halfway decent. I am pretty fair skinned…. usually the lightest or second lightest shade of foundation in the range.
I don’t mind the scent, there is something mildly intoxicating about it at first – though it does smell quite strong particularly in your armpits. And the smell doesn’t really go away until the tan has really degraded and worn off.
I want to find a perfume that plays into the scent of this tan. I’m thinking maybe Kai from Mecca (a lovely gardenia flower scent – very islandy and Hawaiian).

i like the colour it gives but i hate the smell
gives a nice tanned colour for my complexion (pale and freckly skin), definitely never comes out orange and because its gradual it has never streaked or left marks on elbows/feets etc. However my main gripe is that i cant bear the sickly sweet smell of it, which stays all day. Although its quite moisturising which i like – it does seems to leave a sticky feeling on your skin.

Another win for Bondi Sands!
This product is fantastic for topping up tan or for using as a face tan. The colour is more medium than dark but is natural and sunkissed.
The application is quick and easy with the super handy spray bottle packaging. I usually spray some onto a tanning mitt and use all over.
Putting a small amount with some of your favourite moisturiser also works well for a sunkissed glow especially on your face.
The scent as always is bondi sands signature coconut which is pleasent and refreshing.
I always have a bottle o this on hand especially in summer!

Can’t live without it now
I’m a long time user of Bondi Sands tan and my regular is the light to medium foam. Best colour and coverage, but as we all know, we usually have to sleep in it all sticky and that can be uncomfortable. So I decided to try the liquid gold oil as they claim it dries very fast.
Well, unfortunately for me it doesn’t dry fast at all and stays a little sticky but I think that’s just my skin as I get that way with even instant tans, but with liquid gold I find I can still get dressed and go about my day and the tan will develop beautifully and evenly.
I have pale skin with yellow undertones so getting the right colour can be very difficult but I’ve found liquid gold is PERFECT for my skin. However, I can see this not working for a lot of people with red undertones, as it is quite yellowish when developed.
What I love about liquid gold is that because it’s an oil, it goes on so amazing and really hydrates your skin.
If I’m using the foam, I have to shower and moisturise before tanning which always worries me that the tan won’t stick well if I already have moisturiser on. But with liquid gold I put it straight on and by the time I shower, my skin feels incredibly soft from being oiled up for hours. It also doesn’t go flaky and dry during the week either like other tans do, I find when I use the foam I have to moisturise extra well during the week or my skin will dry out and flake worse than usual.
The liquid gold also lasts about a week before I scrub it off and it also doesn’t require much effort to get the last patches off.
Overall very impressed and will be repurchasing. I might use the foam for when I have heaps of time to tan and use the liquid gold when I have to leave the house because I can get dressed and go, leaving the tan to develop all day with no effort.

Just like the name implies, its legit liquid gold.. i absolutely love the formula, the finish, the colour.. everything! its the PERFECT winter colour for me… i like a really dark tan for summer which i can achieve with two coats of liquid gold, but for winter, one is perfection! it dried down and doesn’t smell bad like foam tanners, its beautiful

My cousin has been nagging me to try Bondi Sands Liquid Gold for years so I finally gave in and gave it a go. I found it nice to apply, it goes on quickly, drys fast and gives me a nice subtle glow when I can’t be bothered getting a spray tan or doing a full tan.
